PURCHASE IN PERSON

Park Royal gift cards can be purchased in person at the Park Royal Administration Office in the South Mall Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm.

Accepted methods of payment are MasterCard, Visa and Interac. Sorry no cash payments accepted.

PURCHASE ONLINE

Online orders can be picked up at the Park Royal Administration Office or shipped via Canada Post XpressPost for $13. For online orders the average processing time is 2-3 business days.

CORPORATE AND BULK PURCHASING

The Park Royal Corporate Order Program offers a variety of ways for businesses and associations to buy gift cards in bulk to give to large groups of employees, members or customers. Accepted methods of payment are MasterCard, Visa and Interac. For more information, please email prreception@parkroyal.com.

For any card transaction equal or greater than $1,000 for an individual or $3,000 for a corporate order, anti-money laundering legislation requires completion of an AML Compliance Form. Please note that Park Royal is unable to issue a refund for Gift Card purchases once the transaction is complete. Refunds can only be processed by the card provider.
Park Royal gift cards never expire but unused funds are subject to a monthly fee of $2.50 if not spent within 15 months after card purchase. Please check the back of your card for details or visit the Park Royal Administration Office to extend this date.

How do I use my Park Royal Gift Card? Learn More + Collapse -

First, check to see if the store accepts the Park Royal Gift Card. Then, let the store associate know you are using a Gift Card before they start to ring in your purchase; stores will need to know the value of your card. Once the purchase is complete, check the bottom of your receipt to see your latest card balance.

Park Royal Gift Cards are redeemable at participating Park Royal retailers. Although most Park Royal retailers accept the card, a list of non-participating stores is available at the top of this page.

Can I use a Park Royal Gift Card online? Learn More + Collapse -

No, Park Royal Gift Cards are not redeemable online. They are only valid at participating Park Royal tenants’ physical locations.

How can I check the balance of my Gift Card? Learn More + Collapse -

1. Each time you use your Park Royal Gift Card, the authorization code at the bottom of your receipt represents your remaining balance, call the automated Balance Inquiry line at 800.755.8608, or on the web at www.getmybalance.com.

What if the purchase amount is more than the available balance on my Gift Card? Learn More + Collapse -

It is important to know the remaining balance on your card before making a purchase or the transaction will decline. Once you know the balance, ask the retailer to process the transaction for that amount and pay the remainder with an alternate form of payment.

When is my online gift card purchase ready for pick up? Learn More + Collapse -

Average processing time for an online order is 2-3 business days. Your order will be available for pick up at the Park Royal Administration office, Monday-Friday. 9am – 4:30pm, 2nd level Park Royal South behind the food court. If someone else is picking up your gift card, email info@parkroyal.ca with their name. Photo ID required.

How do I return something purchased with my Gift Card? Learn More + Collapse -

Return policies vary by store. Please inquire into the retailer’s return policy at the time of purchase as the merchant may only issue a store credit for returns. If a retailer opts to credit a return to your Gift Card, the funds will be available within 7 business days.

What if my Gift Card is lost or stolen? Learn More + Collapse -

If your Gift Card is lost of stolen, The Park Royal Management Office may be able to issue you a replacement card. To do so, you must have the 16-digit card number from the back of the card and/or the original purchase receipt. Only the balance amount available on the card at the time of replacement will be reissued.

Except where prohibited or to the extent permitted by law, a nonrefundable $2.50 maintenance fee, plus applicable tax, will be deducted each month from the card balance, commencing on the first day of the sixteenth month from the date of sale. Should the Card Holder request in the fifteenth month that the date be extended, the sixteen months will be extended to nineteen months. No, the funds on the Gift Card never expire. However, the magnetic strip on the back may become unusable after 36 months. If you still have funds available on the card at that point, you may visit The Park Royal Management Office for a replacement card.

What is the refund policy? Learn More + Collapse -

Park Royal is unable to issue refunds for Gift Cards once the purchase is complete. If the Card has not been used and you do not want the Card, you may cancel this Agreement and return the Card to EML before it is used along with the original receipt, by mail postage prepaid, to ATTN: Prepaid Card Customer Service, 3085 Kingston Road, Suite 123, Toronto, Ontario M1M 1P1 within thirty (30) calendar days after the activation date. If the Card is returned in a timely manner before it is used, you will receive a refund of the amount on the Card. No refunds will be honoured unless (a) the Card is returned unused by mail post-marked within the thirty (30) calendar day period; and (b) you provide your name and mailing address with the returned Card and the original receipt. Information concerning this cancellation program may be obtained by calling 1.800.998.6844. Requests for cancellation may take up to sixty (60) days to process.
